A fine 'Imari' Japan pattern Mason's Patent Ironstone dessert dish with a central motif of a vase with stylised sprays of flowers and a deep border incorporating ho-bird (bird of paradise) mon or medallions. In great condition, showing little sign of wear. The underglaze cobalt blue is enhanced with orange, yellow, pink and green enamels, richly gilded. Printed 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China'.
