A lovely jug from this small Staffordshire pottery which closed over 100 years ago in 1905. A design of fruit and flowers, hand-painted and edged with lustre; so typical of the period. Increasingly difficult to find jugs like this in such good condition. This one is in very 'clean' order and has no signs of wear. Printed garter mark and impressed month/year mark '8-81' for 1881 (as shown in image 3). Height 15.25cm (6in)
