Early Mason's Patent Ironstone China 'Double Landscape' Plate c1825

A lovely Mason's Patent Ironstone China 'Double Landscape' pattern plate. A fine indented shape printed in underglaze blue and then lavishly hand painted with iron red, green and pink, embellished with lots of rich gilding. A nice touch on the reverse rim is three painted flower buds covering the stilt marks. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or restoration and showing little signs of wear. Rare to find this pattern on early pieces, especially in such good order. Printed 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China' mark c1825. Diameter 22.5cm (8.8in)
