A superb blue and white ewer of an oriental lakeland scene with fountain, urns and elaborate pagoda. An unknown and rare pattern with a deep floral border which contains a vignette both sides of the spout showing a child with a cat and dog. Very unusual indeed. A lovely medium blue print, whilst the interior shows ribbed coiling suggesting it was hand made rather than molded. In excellent condition, this substantially large piece cannot be faulted. Impressed potter's marks. Height 23.25cm (9.1in)
